Case studies, observations, facts, statistics, witness accounts, scientific data culled from around the globe, all translated into photography, drawings, mostly anonimous artistic impressions of Close Encounters from the 1950s until the 1990s. Regardless of auxiliary information, these are fantastic, creative, mystical, psychedelic, sometimes raw visual depictions of unexplained phenomena. According to this selection, the Other is not necessarily evil or ill-intentioned but it is almost always intriguing and suggestive of unfamiliar, even unprecedented possibilities, experiences, information, contact, maybe even relationships.
